Colossians 2:1-8

Our world has no shortfall of philosophy’s today. Each of us is influenced by and influences others by a philosophical disposition that morphs over time. The philosophy of every teacher, relative, employer, professor, friend and neighbor has either intentionally or even unintentionally informed discussions, debate and decisions. Whether it be capitalism, consumerism, classism, sexism, racism, liberalism. Marxism, socialism, environmentalism, to name a few – philosophies influence us. How do we ensure that our ideological perspective and philosophy is aligned with a Christ-honoring, gospel centered grounding and isn’t swayed by the current isms of our day?
