COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community Groups are groups of 8-10 who gather in homes or at the church for Prayer, Fellowship, and Bible Study to help each other grow up in our walk with Jesus Christ.

Community Groups typically start up in September/October and we also have some that start up in January as well.

We have a new model this year where you let us know the time and location that works best for you and we will match you with a group.

If you are interested in joining a group, please e-mail office@jamesnorth.church and we will be happy to put you in touch with the leaders.

If you would like to join a Community Group you will need to take our Discovering James North Classes first.  These classes will give you a sense of what our Community Groups are like, a bit of what James North is about (our history, beliefs and vision) and some time to get acquainted with some others before jumping into a Community Group.  This class typically runs twice each year, you can contact our office for more information.

CLASSES & SEMINARS

A few times a year, we offer day–long seminars, or  short-term (usually 4-8 sessions) classes for biblical teaching on various subjects from qualified teachers.  These classes are not ideal for building relationships, but they will be beneficial for those who desire a more rigorous, teacher-student approach, and who is unable to commit to longer-term growth opportunities.  Their purpose is to provide more focused Bible study, so that by better understanding and applying its teaching in a variety or areas, we may grow toward maturity in Christ.
