One of the most frustrating ways to live your life is as someone God has saved, who doesn’t learn to depend on the Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit longs to alter our inclinations and world-view from the way society and culture has shaped and formed us, to the way He created and intended us to live. Understanding the Spirit’s work in our life is often one of the most complicated and misunderstood areas of Christian living. We typically think of the Spirit’s filling as only occurring in the overly dramatic and sensational times of life rather than being essential and core to our daily routine. This Sunday we gain an understanding of what it means to be Spirit-filled. The most satisfied and joy-filled people alive are those who live by the Spirit.
