Sometimes we are unsure how to thank someone who shows us great mercy. We’ve messed up a job at work that cost the company significant dollars and the boss told us not to be concerned with it as it could have happened to anyone. We put our family in debt starting a business that ends up bankrupt and our spouse has been nothing but supportive. A professor brings us an exam we failed and offers not only for us to write it again but to help us prepare. How do we respond to God who should have cast us aside but instead cast His Son out to welcome us in so He could extend us mercy?
