Romans 15:7-13

It can be hard to welcome others who are unlike you. They may be athletic while you are musical or they are artistic while you are academic. They may be from a different culture or custom and so they see the world through a different lens which challenges the way you approach a certain subject or tackle a project.

We are called to accept others in the same way Christ has accepted us. We are to accept weak Christians and strong Christians along with Jews and Gentiles because God has done so in Christ. Some of us become frustrated as we’ve tried this and failed – we realize in our own strength we are unable to serve others in this way as our natural tendency is wanting to be served. We need the Holy Spirit to transform who we are so that we look and live the way God’s people should.

Join us as we celebrate the accomplished work of Christ and how the Spirit enables us to live in light of what Christ has done.
