How do we explain the periods of miraculous intervention at Creation, the Exodus, Elijah and Elisha, the life of Jesus (including the resurrection) and the Acts of the Apostles? Further, what does it mean that God has gifted some of His people through the church age with gifts of the miraculous and healing? How do we understand God’s work in the world today? And what of James 5 and the laying on of hands by elders for healing?
