Romans 13:1-7

Sometimes you hear it said that you should avoid talking about politics and religion. Both can cause intense debates. There are times when we disagree with our politicians regardless of the political party or persuasion they represent. The first century Christians lived in a day when they were ruled with few rights and virtually no influence in government affairs. God grants some guiding principles to those early Christians as they navigate the power of the Roman empire as believers whose minds have been renewed.
