Do you find it hard to support your child or youth who is experiencing an emotional or behavioural difficulty? Do you feel like you are walking on eggshells around them? Does it seem like you are not able to connect with them and it is hard to help make change happen in their lives?
Zeb Demaiter and Christine Vaughan are registered Social Workers who work with children, youth and their families in a mental health setting. They will be offering a course through James North at the end of March (date and time to be determined) for parents of children and youth who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. The course will include information and strategies that parents can use which are evidence based and emotion focused.
We're looking to offer this course in late April or May. More details to come soon!
Zeb and his wife Laura have been married for fourteen years and live in the North End. They have four children. Laura provides home education. Zeb works as a Social Worker doing family therapy at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
