Too often we pitch in and serve out of our own strength. We rely on our gifts, abilities and resources to build God’s Kingdom. Though well intentioned, this inevitably leads to frustration as we are engaged in a spiritual battle. It also leads to burn-out as we are unable to battle the enemy in our own strength. We need to cultivate lives that are dependent on God’s Spirit as He is our sanctifier as well as our counsellor and guide. He fills us, strengthening us, as we serve Christ together. And we thank God that His Spirt is in us. We have full access to the Spirit at any time.
