What about me? In a day full of demands…school work, aging parents, children with homework, friends needing assistance, a work load that never diminishes…it can be easy to focus on ourself. When is my time? When do I get to do what I want? When is life about me? I need ‘me time.’ Now I’m not in any way suggesting that we don’t require times of refreshment and rejuvenation. We do. We need to recharge spiritually, physically and emotionally. Yet, in our narcissistic day more of peoples’ lives are simply about them than they might realize or care to acknowledge. Then we think of God’s calling on our lives to grow in our faith, encourage each other and share what God has done in us with others. How do we even start?
